Dan Lubbers is a Photographer / Retoucher / iOS & Web Developer who has lived in Louisville, Kentucky; Provo, Utah; and most recently Saratoga Springs, NY. Lubbers got his start with Extreme Sports Photography when he was the sole photographer on the La Sportiva Solutions Climbing Tour in 2007. Between 2015 - 2018, he worked as a Digital Technician, Retoucher and Photographer at Amazon’s largest photo studio primarily working in the Jewelry and Watch department. In 2018, he was the lead retoucher for Tempurpedics AD campaign. Between 2018 - 2020, Lubbers was a photographer for The Frances Young Tang Museum at Skidmore College in Saratoga Springs, NY. Lubbers has a passion for Environmental & Fine Art Portraiture as well as being out in nature exploring the realms of the cosmos through astrophotography. A love of the outdoors led Lubbers to build from the ground up a swift native iOS app called the Backpacking List for all outdoor oriented gear heads. He also has a coherent breathwork app called Sym Breathing. These days when he’s not coding or roaming the outdoor trails, he gets very introspective on a musical instrument called the handpan or communal on his djembe with friends around a bonfire. Other interests include Psychology, Philosophy, Meditation, Healing modalities, Hot Springs and Asian cuisines, preferably Vietnamese and Korean. Go connect with him on social media!
